انگریزی ترجمہ
Narrated Abu Musa al-Ash'ari (may Allah be pleased with him): A bedouin man came to the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) and said, "O Messenger of Allah! One man fights for plunder, one man fights for fame, and one man fights to show his standing. So which of these is fighting in the way of Allah the Exalted?" The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "Whoever fights so that the word of Allah the Exalted may be uppermost, he is the one who fights in the way of Allah." اردو ترجمہ
سیدنا ابوموسیٰ اشعری رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہایک دیہاتی آدمی رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکے پاس آیا اور عرض کیا کہ رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلم! آدمی لوٹ کے لئے لڑتا ہے اور آدمی نام کے لئے لڑتا ہے اور آدمی اپنا مرتبہ دکھانے کو لڑتا ہے تو اللہ تعالیٰ کی راہ میں لڑنا کون سا ہے؟ رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا کہ جو اس لئے لڑے کہ اللہ تعالیٰ کا کلمہ بلند ہو، وہ اللہ کی راہ میں لڑتا ہے۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 1088]
