حَدَّثَنَايُوسُفُ بْنُ مُوسَى، قَالَ: ثَنَاجَرِيرٌ، عَنِالأَعْمَشِ، عَنْسَالِمٍ، عَنْكُرَيْبٍ، عَنِابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، عَنْمَيْمُونَةَرَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا، قَالَتْ:" اغْتَسَلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ غَسَلَ فَرْجَهُ وَدَلَكَ يَدَهُ بِالأَرْضِ، أَوْ قَالَ: بِالْحَائِطِ، ثُمَّ تَوَضَّأَ وُضُوءَهُ لِلصَّلاةِ ثُمَّ أَفَاضَ عَلَى رَأْسِهِ وَسَائِرِ جَسَدِهِ ثُمَّ تَنَحَّى فَغَسَلَ رِجْلَيْهِ، فَنَاوَلْتُهُ خِرْقَةً لِيَتَنَشَّفَ بِهَا أَوْ لِيَمْسَحَ بِهَا، فَأَبَى أَنْ يَأْخُذَهَا، وَقَالَ بِيَدِهِ هَكَذَا يَنْفُضُهَا".
انگریزی ترجمہ
Nu'aim ibn Abdullah al-Mujmir narrated: I saw Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) perform wudu; he washed his face thoroughly, then washed his right hand including part of the upper arm, then his left hand including part of the upper arm, then wiped his head, then washed his right foot including part of the shin, then his left foot including part of the shin. Then he said: This is how I saw the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) perform wudu. And the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "You are the ones with bright marks (ghurr muhajjalin) on the Day of Resurrection from the effects of wudu. Whoever among you can extend his brightness, let him do so."
اردو ترجمہ
سیدہ میمونہ رضی اللہ عنہا بیان کرتی ہیں کہ رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے غسل کیا، تو (پہلے) شرمگاہ کو دھویا، پھر ہاتھ زمین یا دیوار پر رگڑا، پھر نماز کی طرح وضو کیا، پھر سرسمیت پورے جسم پر پانی بہایا، پھر ایک طرف ہٹ کر پاؤں دھوئے۔ میں نے آپ کو کپڑا دیا، تا کہ اس سے جسم خشک کر لیں، تو آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے لینے سے انکار کر دیا اور ہاتھ سے پانی جھاڑ نے لگے۔[المنتقى ابن الجارود/كتاب الطهارة/حدیث: 100]
