أَخْبَرَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مُصْعَبٍ بِمَرْوَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْحَكَمِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي عَنِ اللَّيْثِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَجْلَانَ عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ «إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يَنْزِعُ الْعِلْمَ مِنَ النَّاسِ انْتِزَاعًا يَنْتَزِعُهُ مِنْهُمْ بَعْدَ إِذْ أَعْطَاهُمُوهُ وَلَكِنْ بِقَبْضِ الْعُلَمَاءِ فَإِذَا لَمْ يَبْقَ عَالِمٌ اتَّخَذَ النَّاسُ رُؤَسَاءَ جُهَّالًا يَسْتَفْتُونَهُمْ فَيُفْتُونَ بِغَيْرِ عِلْمٍ فَيُضِلُّونَ وَيَضِلُّونَ»
انگریزی ترجمہ
Al-Husayn ibn Muhammad ibn Mus'ab in Marw informed us, Muhammad ibn Abdullah ibn Abd al-Hakam narrated to us, my father narrated to us from Layth ibn Sa'd from Muhammad ibn Ajlan from Hisham ibn Urwah from his father from Abdullah ibn Amr that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "Allah does not remove knowledge from people by snatching it away from them after giving it to them, but through taking away the scholars. When no scholar remains, people will take ignorant leaders and ask them for verdicts, and they will issue verdicts without knowledge, thus they will go astray and lead others astray."
