Ibn Qutayba informed us, he said: Yazid ibn Mawhab narrated to us, he said: Al-Mufaddal ibn Fadala narrated to me, from Aqil, from Ibn Shihab, from Urwa, from Aisha, that the Prophet ﷺ used to, when he went to his bed, put his palms together, then blow into them and recite into them: Say: He is Allah, the One, and Say: I seek refuge in the Lord of daybreak, and Say: I seek refuge in the Lord of mankind. Then he would wipe with them what he could of his body. He would do this three times.
