وَفِي رِوَايَةٍ لَهُمَا: فَسَأَلُوا أَنْ يُقِرَّهُمْ بِهَا عَلَى أَنْ يَكْفُوا عَمَلَهَا وَلَهُمْ نِصْفُ اَلثَّمَرِ, فَقَالَ لَهُمْ رَسُولُ اَللَّهِ - صلى الله عليه وسلم -{ نُقِرُّكُمْ بِهَا عَلَى ذَلِكَ مَا شِئْنَا ", فَقَرُّوا بِهَا, حَتَّى أَجْلَاهُمْ عُمَرُ } 1 .1 - صحيح. رواه البخاري ( 2338 )، ومسلم ( 1551 ) ( 6 ) وزادا: " إلى تيماء وأريحاء ".
انگریزی ترجمہ
A narration by al-Bukhari and Muslim has:They asked him (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) to allow them to stay on the land, on condition that they should do all the cultivation and have half the dates. Allah's Messenger (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) responded to them, "We shall allow you to stay on the land, on that condition, as long as we wish." So they remained on the land till 'Umar (may Allah be well pleased with him) expelled them.
اردو ترجمہ
بخاری و مسلم کی ایک اور روایت میں ہے: انہوں نے درخواست کی کہ انہیں اس زمین پر رہنے دیا جائے بشرطیکہ وہ اس کی دیکھ بھال کریں اور آدھا پھل ان کا ہو۔ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ہم تمہیں اسی شرط پر جب تک چاہیں رہنے دیں گے۔ چنانچہ وہ وہاں رہے یہاں تک کہ حضرت عمر رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ نے انہیں جلاوطن کیا۔
