Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that when the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) raised his head (from ruku'), he would say: "Sami' Allahu liman hamidah, Rabbana wa lakal-hamd." Then he would supplicate for certain people by name, saying: "O Allah, save al-Walid ibn al-Walid, Salamah ibn Hisham, Ayyash ibn Abi Rabi'ah, and the weak Muslims. O Allah, intensify Your punishment upon (the tribe of) Mudar and send upon them years of famine like the years of Yusuf." At that time, the people of the east from Mudar were opposed to the Prophet (peace be upon him).
اردو ترجمہ
سیدنا ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہرسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمجب اپنا سر (رکوع سے) اٹھاتے تھے تو ((سمع اللہ لمن حمدہ ربنا ولک الحمد)) کہتے تھے (اور) کچھ آدمیوں کے نام لے کر دعا کرتے تھے (اور) فرماتے تھے:”اے اللہ! ولید بن ولید اور سلمہ بن ہشام کو اور عیاش بن ابی ربیعہ اور کمزور مسلمانوں کو (کفار مکہ کے پنجہ ظلم سے) نجات دے۔ اے اللہ! اپنا عذاب مضر (قبیلہ مضر) پر سخت کر دے اور اس سے ان کو قحط سالی میں مبتلا کر دے جیسے یوسف علیہ السلام (کے دور) کی قحط سالی تھی۔ اس وقت اہل مشرق سے (قبیلہ مضر) مضر کے لوگ آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکے مخالف تھے۔“[مختصر صحيح بخاري/حدیث: 462]
