Narrated Anas ibn Malik (may Allah be pleased with him): The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) used to visit Umm Haram bint Milhan (may Allah be pleased with her), and she was the wife of Ubadah ibn al-Samit (may Allah be pleased with him). One day he (peace be upon him) went to her, and she fed him and began to look through his (peace be upon him) head as one looks for lice. He (peace be upon him) fell asleep, and then when he awoke, he woke up laughing. Umm Haram said, "O Messenger of Allah! Why are you laughing?" He (peace be upon him) said: "Some people of my nation were shown to me fighting in the path of Allah, riding upon the midst of the sea (upon ships) like kings, or like kings upon thrones." This doubt was on the part of the narrator Ishaq. Umm Haram (may Allah be pleased with her) said, "I said, 'O Messenger of Allah! Pray to Allah that Allah the Exalted make me one of them.'" He (peace be upon him) prayed for her, then laid down his head and slept again. Then he awoke laughing. Umm Haram (may Allah be pleased with her) said, "I said, 'O Messenger of Allah! (Now) why are you laughing?'" He said: "Some people of my nation were presented before me waging jihad in the path of Allah," just as he (peace be upon him) had said the first time. She said, "I said, 'Pray to Allah that Allah the Exalted make me one of them.'" He (peace be upon him) said: "You are among the first ones." So Umm Haram (may Allah be pleased with her), during the reign of Mu'awiyah ibn Abi Sufyan (may Allah be pleased with him), embarked on a ship in the sea (in the first Islamic naval expedition), and upon coming out of the sea she fell from her mount and died.
اردو ترجمہ
سیدنا انس بن مالک رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہرسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمام حرام بنت ملحان رضی اللہ عنہا کے پاس تشریف لے جایا کرتے تھے اور یہ عبادہ بن صامت رضی اللہ عنہ کی بیوی تھیں۔ ایک دن آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمان کے پاس تشریف لے گئے تو انھوں نے آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکو کھانا کھلایا اور آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکے سر کو اس طرح دیکھنے لگیں جیسے جوئیں دیکھتے ہیں۔ آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمسو گئے اور پھر جب اٹھے تو ہنستے ہوئے اٹھے۔ ام حرام نے عرض کی یا رسول اللہ! کس سبب سے آپ ہنس رہے ہیں؟ آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا:”میری امت کے چند لوگ اللہ کی راہ میں لڑتے ہوئے مجھ کو دکھائے گئے، سمندر کے درمیان (جہازوں پر) سوار بادشاہوں کی طرح یا مثل بادشاہوں کے تختوں پر بیٹھے ہوئے۔“یہ شک اسحاق راوی کو ہوا ہے۔ ام حرام رضی اللہ عنہا کہتی ہیں کہ میں نے عرض کی یا رسول اللہ! اللہ سے دعا کیجئیے کہ اللہ تعالیٰ مجھ کو ان لوگوں میں سے کرے۔ آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے ان کے لیے دعا مانگی اور پھر سر رکھ کر سو گئے۔ پھر ہنستے ہوئے جاگے۔ ام حرام رضی اللہ عنہا کہتی ہیں کہ میں نے عرض کی یا رسول اللہ! (اب) کس وجہ سے آپ ہنس رہے ہیں؟ فرمایا:”میری امت کے چند لوگ اللہ کی راہ میں جہاد کرتے ہوئے میرے سامنے پیش کیے گئے۔“جیسا کہ پہلی مرتبہ آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا تھا۔ یہ کہتی ہیں کہ میں نے عرض کی کہ آپ اللہ سے دعا کیجئیے کہ اللہ تعالیٰ مجھے ان لوگوں میں سے کر دے۔ آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا:”تم پہلوں میں سے ہو۔“چنانچہ ام حرام (رضی اللہ عنہا) سیدنا معاویہ بن ابوسفیان رضی اللہ عنہ کے دور حکومت میں (پہلی اسلامی) سمندر میں کشتی پر سوار ہوئیں اور سمندر سے نکلنے کے وقت اپنی سواری کے جانور سے گر کر فوت ہو گئیں۔[مختصر صحيح بخاري/حدیث: 2181]
