The Mother of the Believers, Aishah al-Siddiqah (may Allah be pleased with her), said: A Bedouin came to the Prophet (peace be upon him) and said: You kiss children, but we do not kiss them. He (peace be upon him) said: "What can I do when Allah has not placed mercy in your heart (so how can I now place it)?"
اردو ترجمہ
ام المؤمنین عائشہ صدیقہ رضی اللہ عنہا نے کہا کہایک گنوار، نبی کریمصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکے پاس آیا اور کہا کہ آپ تو بچوں کو بوسہ دیتے ہیں اور ہم نہیں دیتے۔ آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا:”میں کیا کروں جب اللہ تعالیٰ نے تیرے دل میں رحمت ہی نہیں ڈالی (تو اب میں کس طرح ڈال سکتا ہوں؟)۔“[مختصر صحيح بخاري/حدیث: 2013]
