انگریزی ترجمہ
Narrated Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him): I said to the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him), "I am a young man and I fear that I may commit adultery, and I do not have the means to marry." But he (peace be upon him) gave me no answer. I said the same again, but he (peace be upon him) again remained silent. I said it again, but he (peace be upon him) gave no answer. I said the same again, and he (peace be upon him) answered, "O Abu Hurayrah! Whatever is (written) in your destiny, the pen has dried (now the decree cannot be changed); whether you castrate yourself or not."
اردو ترجمہ
سیدنا ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہمیں نے رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمسے عرض کی کہ میں جوان آدمی ہوں اور مجھے خوف ہے کہ کہیں مجھ سے زنا نہ ہو جائے اور نکاح کرنے کی مجھ میں استطاعت نہیں تو آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے مجھے کچھ جواب نہ دیا۔ میں نے پھر اسی طرح عرض کی تو آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمپھر خاموش ہو گئے۔ میں نے پھر عرض کی تو آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے کچھ جواب نہ دیا۔ میں نے پھر اسی طرح عرض کی تو آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے جواب دیا:”ابوہریرہ! جو کچھ تیری تقدیر میں ہے (اسے لکھ کر) قلم خشک ہو گئی (اب حکم نہیں بدل سکتا) چاہے تو خصی ہو یا نہ ہو۔“[مختصر صحيح بخاري/حدیث: 1830]
