حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ كَثِيرٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَابِسٍ، قَالَ سُئِلَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ أَشَهِدْتَ الْعِيدَ مَعَ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ نَعَمْ وَلَوْلاَ مَنْزِلَتِي مِنْهُ مَا شَهِدْتُهُ مِنَ الصِّغَرِ، فَأَتَى الْعَلَمَ الَّذِي عِنْدَ دَارِ كَثِيرِ بْنِ الصَّلْتِ فَصَلَّى ثُمَّ خَطَبَ، وَلَمْ يَذْكُرْ أَذَانًا وَلاَ إِقَامَةً، ثُمَّ أَمَرَ بِالصَّدَقَةِ فَجَعَلَ النِّسَاءُ يُشِرْنَ إِلَى آذَانِهِنَّ وَحُلُوقِهِنَّ، فَأَمَرَ بِلاَلاً فَأَتَاهُنَّ، ثُمَّ رَجَعَ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Muhammad bin Kathir narrated to us, he said Sufyan informed us, from Hadrat Abd al-Rahman bin Abis who said: Hadrat Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be well pleased with them both) was asked, "Did you attend the Eid prayer with the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him)?" He said, "Yes, and had I not held a special position near him (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him), I would not have attended due to my young age." He (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) came to the marker near the house of Kathir bin al-Salt, offered the prayer, and then delivered the sermon — and neither Adhan nor Iqamah were mentioned. Then he commanded charity, and the women began pointing to their ears and throats (i.e., offering their jewellery). Then he instructed Hadrat Bilal (may Allah be well pleased with him), who went to the women (to collect the charity), and then returned to the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him).
اردو ترجمہ
ہم سے محمد بن کثیر نے بیان کیا، انہوں نے کہا ہمیں سفیان نے خبر دی، ان سے عبدالرحمٰن بن عابس نے بیان کیا کہ حضرت عبداللہ بن عباس رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہما سے پوچھا گیا: کیا آپ نے نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کے ساتھ عید میں شرکت کی؟ انہوں نے فرمایا: ہاں، اور اگر آپ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کے پاس میرا خاص مقام نہ ہوتا تو چھوٹا ہونے کی وجہ سے میں حاضر نہ ہو سکتا۔ آپ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم اس نشان کے پاس تشریف لائے جو کثیر بن صلت کے گھر کے پاس تھا، نماز پڑھائی پھر خطبہ ارشاد فرمایا، اور اذان و اقامت کا ذکر نہیں کیا گیا۔ پھر آپ نے صدقہ کا حکم فرمایا تو عورتیں اپنے کانوں اور گلوں کی طرف اشارہ کرنے لگیں (یعنی اپنے زیور اتارنے لگیں)۔ پھر آپ نے حضرت بلال رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ کو حکم فرمایا تو وہ عورتوں کے پاس گئے (صدقات جمع کرنے کے لیے)، پھر نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کے پاس واپس آئے۔
