حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الأَنْصَارِيُّ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، عَنْ ثُمَامَةَ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، أَنَّ أَبَا بَكْرٍ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ لَمَّا اسْتُخْلِفَ كَتَبَ لَهُ، وَكَانَ نَقْشُ الْخَاتَمِ ثَلاَثَةَ أَسْطُرٍ. مُحَمَّدٌ سَطْرٌ، وَرَسُولُ سَطْرٌ، وَاللَّهِ سَطْرٌ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
It is narrated by Hadrat Anas that when Hadrat Abu Bakr became the Caliph, he wrote a letter to him (and stamped it with the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him)'s ring) and the engraving of the ring was in three lines: Muhammad (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) in one line, 'Messenger (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him)' in another line, and 'Allah' in a third line
اردو ترجمہ
مجھ سے عبداللہ انصاری نے بیان کیا، کہا کہ مجھ سے میرے والد عبداللہ بن مثنیٰ نے بیان کیا، ان سے ثمامہ بن عبداللہ بن انس نے اور ان سے انس رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ نے کہ حضرت ابوبکر رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ جب خلیفہ ہوئے تو انہوں نے مجھ کو زکوٰۃ کے مسائل لکھوا دیئے اور انگوٹھی ( مہر ) کا نقش تین سطروں میں تھا ایک سطر میں ”محمد“ دوسری سطر میں ”رسول“ اور تیسری سطر میں ”اللہ“۔
