قَالَ أَيُّوبُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي أُوَيْسٍ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ بِلاَلٍ، قَالَ يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ سَمِعْتُ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ، قَالَ أَتَى رَجُلٌ أَعْرَابِيٌّ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْبَدْوِ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ، هَلَكَتِ الْمَاشِيَةُ هَلَكَ الْعِيَالُ هَلَكَ النَّاسُ. فَرَفَعَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَدَيْهِ يَدْعُو، وَرَفَعَ النَّاسُ أَيْدِيَهُمْ مَعَهُ يَدْعُونَ، قَالَ فَمَا خَرَجْنَا مِنَ الْمَسْجِدِ حَتَّى مُطِرْنَا، فَمَا زِلْنَا نُمْطَرُ حَتَّى كَانَتِ الْجُمُعَةُ الأُخْرَى، فَأَتَى الرَّجُلُ إِلَى نَبِيِّ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ، بَشِقَ الْمُسَافِرُ، وَمُنِعَ الطَّرِيقُ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
It is narrated from Hadrat Anas bin Malik (may Allah be well pleased with him) who said: A Bedouin came to the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) on a Friday and submitted: 'O Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him)! The livestock are perishing, the families are starving, the people are dying!' The Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) raised his blessed hands in supplication, and the people also raised their hands with him, praying. Hadrat Anas (may Allah be well pleased with him) stated: We had not yet left the mosque when it began to rain, and it continued raining until the next Friday. Then the same man came and submitted: 'O Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him)! The travelers are distressed and the roads are cut off.'
اردو ترجمہ
حضرت انس بن مالک رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ فرماتے ہیں کہ جمعہ کے دن ایک بدوی رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کی بارگاہ میں حاضر ہوا اور عرض کیا: یا رسول اللہ! مویشی تباہ ہو رہے ہیں، اہل و عیال ہلاک ہو رہے ہیں، لوگ مر رہے ہیں۔ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے دعا کے لیے اپنے دست مبارک اٹھائے اور لوگوں نے بھی آپ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کے ساتھ ہاتھ اٹھائے اور دعا فرمانے لگے۔ حضرت انس رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ فرماتے ہیں: ہم ابھی مسجد سے باہر نکلے بھی نہ تھے کہ بارش شروع ہو گئی اور دوسرے جمعہ تک مسلسل بارش ہوتی رہی۔ پھر وہی شخص حاضر ہوا اور عرض کیا: یا رسول اللہ! مسافر پریشان ہو گئے اور راستے بند ہو گئے۔
