حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدٌ، قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو ضَمْرَةَ، أَنَسُ بْنُ عِيَاضٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شَرِيكُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي نَمِرٍ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ، يَذْكُرُ أَنَّ رَجُلاً، دَخَلَ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ مِنْ باب كَانَ وُجَاهَ الْمِنْبَرِ، وَرَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَائِمٌ يَخْطُبُ فَاسْتَقْبَلَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَائِمًا فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ، هَلَكَتِ الْمَوَاشِي وَانْقَطَعَتِ السُّبُلُ، فَادْعُ اللَّهَ يُغِيثُنَا. قَالَ فَرَفَعَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَدَيْهِ فَقَالَ " اللَّهُمَّ اسْقِنَا، اللَّهُمَّ اسْقِنَا، اللَّهُمَّ اسْقِنَا ". قَالَ أَنَسٌ وَلاَ وَاللَّهِ مَا نَرَى فِي السَّمَاءِ مِنْ سَحَابٍ وَلاَ قَزَعَةً وَلاَ شَيْئًا، وَمَا بَيْنَنَا وَبَيْنَ سَلْعٍ مِنْ بَيْتٍ وَلاَ دَارٍ، قَالَ فَطَلَعَتْ مِنْ وَرَائِهِ سَحَابَةٌ مِثْلُ التُّرْسِ، فَلَمَّا تَوَسَّطَتِ السَّمَاءَ انْتَشَرَتْ ثُمَّ أَمْطَرَتْ. قَالَ وَاللَّهِ مَا رَأَيْنَا الشَّمْسَ سِتًّا، ثُمَّ دَخَلَ رَجُلٌ مِنْ ذَلِكَ الْبَابِ فِي الْجُمُعَةِ الْمُقْبِلَةِ، وَرَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَائِمٌ يَخْطُبُ، فَاسْتَقْبَلَهُ قَائِمًا فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ، هَلَكَتِ الأَمْوَالُ وَانْقَطَعَتِ السُّبُلُ، فَادْعُ اللَّهَ يُمْسِكْهَا، قَالَ فَرَفَعَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَدَيْهِ ثُمَّ قَالَ " اللَّهُمَّ حَوَالَيْنَا وَلاَ عَلَيْنَا، اللَّهُمَّ عَلَى الآكَامِ وَالْجِبَالِ وَالآجَامِ وَالظِّرَابِ وَالأَوْدِيَةِ وَمَنَابِتِ الشَّجَرِ ". قَالَ فَانْقَطَعَتْ وَخَرَجْنَا نَمْشِي فِي الشَّمْسِ. قَالَ شَرِيكٌ فَسَأَلْتُ أَنَسًا أَهُوَ الرَّجُلُ الأَوَّلُ قَالَ لاَ أَدْرِي.
انگریزی ترجمہ
It is narrated from Hadrat Anas bin Malik (may Allah be well pleased with him) who said: A man entered the Mosque of the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) on a Friday through the gate facing the pulpit while the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) was standing and delivering the Khutba. The man stood facing the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) and submitted: 'O Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him)! The livestock are perishing and the roads are cut off; please pray to Allah to grant us rain.' Hadrat Anas (may Allah be well pleased with him) stated: The Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) raised his blessed hands and prayed: 'O Allah! Grant us rain! O Allah! Grant us rain! O Allah! Grant us rain!' Hadrat Anas (may Allah be well pleased with him) said: By Allah, there was not a trace of cloud in the sky, nor any other sign of rain, and there was no building between us and the mountain of Sal'. Then from behind it appeared a cloud like a shield, and when it reached the middle of the sky, it spread and it began to rain. By Allah! We did not see the sun for a week. Then the next Friday, a man entered through the same gate while the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) was standing and delivering the Khutba. He stood and submitted: 'O Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him)! Wealth and property are being destroyed and the roads are cut off; please pray to Allah to withhold the rain.' The Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) raised his blessed hands and prayed: 'O Allah! Around us and not upon us. O Allah! Upon the hillocks, the mountains, the thickets, the elevated lands, the valleys and the places where trees grow.' Hadrat Anas (may Allah be well pleased with him) stated: The rain ceased and we went out walking in the sunshine. Sharik said: I asked Hadrat Anas (may Allah be well pleased with him) whether it was the same man who had asked initially. He replied: I do not know.
اردو ترجمہ
حضرت انس بن مالک رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ فرماتے ہیں کہ ایک شخص جمعہ کے دن مسجد نبوی شریف میں منبر کے سامنے والے دروازے سے داخل ہوا۔ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کھڑے خطبہ ارشاد فرما رہے تھے۔ اس نے کھڑے ہو کر رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کی طرف رخ کیا اور عرض کیا: یا رسول اللہ! جانور ہلاک ہو رہے ہیں اور راستے بند ہو گئے ہیں، اللہ تعالیٰ سے بارش کی دعا فرمائیں۔ حضرت انس رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ فرماتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے اپنے دونوں دست مبارک اٹھائے اور دعا فرمائی: اے اللہ! ہمیں سیراب فرما، اے اللہ! ہمیں سیراب فرما، اے اللہ! ہمیں سیراب فرما۔ حضرت انس رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ فرماتے ہیں: اللہ کی قسم! آسمان پر بادل کا کوئی ٹکڑا تک نظر نہیں آتا تھا اور ہمارے اور سلع پہاڑ کے درمیان کوئی مکان نہ تھا۔ پھر پہاڑ کے پیچھے سے ڈھال کی مانند ایک بادل نمودار ہوا اور بیچ آسمان تک پہنچ کر چاروں طرف پھیل گیا اور بارش شروع ہو گئی۔ اللہ کی قسم! ہم نے ایک ہفتے تک سورج نہیں دیکھا۔ پھر اگلے جمعہ ایک شخص اسی دروازے سے آیا جبکہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کھڑے خطبہ ارشاد فرما رہے تھے۔ اس نے کھڑے ہو کر عرض کیا: یا رسول اللہ! مال و اسباب تباہ ہو رہا ہے اور راستے بند ہو گئے ہیں، اللہ تعالیٰ سے دعا فرمائیں کہ بارش روک دے۔ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے دونوں دست مبارک اٹھائے اور دعا فرمائی: اے اللہ! ہمارے اردگرد برسا، ہم پر نہ برسا۔ اے اللہ! ٹیلوں، پہاڑوں، جنگلوں، پہاڑیوں، وادیوں اور درختوں کی جگہوں پر برسا۔ حضرت انس رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ فرماتے ہیں کہ بارش بند ہو گئی اور ہم باہر نکلے تو دھوپ نکلی ہوئی تھی۔ شریک نے کہا میں نے حضرت انس رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے پوچھا: کیا یہ پہلا ہی شخص تھا؟ فرمایا: مجھے معلوم نہیں۔
