Abda ibn Abdullah narrated to us, he said: Zayd ibn al-Hubab informed us, he said: al-Husayn ibn Waqid informed us from Abdullah ibn Burayda from his father (may Allah be pleased with him) who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "I heard footsteps ahead of me, so I said: 'Who is this?' It was said: 'Bilal.' I said: 'By what have you preceded me to Paradise?' He said: 'I never broke my wudu except that I performed it again, and I never performed wudu except that I saw it as a duty upon me to pray two rak'ahs for Allah, Blessed and Most High.' He said: 'By that then.'"
