أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو سَعِيدِ بْنُ أَبِي عَمْرٍو ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ أنبأ الرَّبِيعُ أنبأ الشَّافِعِيُّ أنبأ الثِّقَةُ أَنَّ مُجَاهِدًا كَانَ يَقُولُ الرَّعْدُ مَلَكٌ وَالْبَرْقُ أَجْنِحَةُ الْمَلَكِ يَسُقْنَ السَّحَابَ قَالَ الشَّافِعِيُّ رَحِمَهُ اللهُ مَا أَشْبَهَ مَا قَالَ مُجَاهِدٌ بِظَاهِرِ الْقُرْآنِ
انگریزی ترجمہ
Abu Sa'id ibn Abi Amr narrated to us... from al-Shafi'i, from a trustworthy narrator, that Mujahid used to say: 'Thunder is an angel, and lightning is the wings of the angel driving the clouds.' Al-Shafi'i (may Allah have mercy on him) said: What Mujahid said most closely resembles the apparent meaning of the Quran.
