أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ وَأَبُو سَعِيدِ بْنُ أَبِي عَمْرٍو قَالَا ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ ثنا الْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ثنا مَالِكُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ أَبُو غَسَّانَ ثنا زُهَيْرٌ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ قَالَ خَرَجَ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ يَزِيدَ الْأَنْصَارِيُّ يَسْتَسْقِي وَقَدْ كَانَ رَأَى النَّبِي��َ ﷺ وَخَرَجَ فِيمَنْ خَرَجَ الْبَرَاءُ بْنُ عَازِبٍ وَزَيْدُ بْنُ أَرْقَمَ قَالَ أَبُو إِسْحَاقَ وَأَنَا مَعَهُ يَوْمَئِذٍ فَقَامَ قَائِمًا عَلَى رِجْلَيْهِ عَلَى غَيْرِ مِنْبَرٍ فَاسْتَسْقَى وَاسْتَغْفَرَ ثُمَّ صَلَّى بِنَا رَكْعَتَيْنِ وَنَحْنُ خَلْفَهُ يَجْهَرُ فِيهِمَا بِالْقِرَاءَةِ لَمْ يُؤَذِّنْ يَوْمَئِذٍ وَلَمْ يُقِمْ
انگریزی ترجمہ
Abu Abdullah al-Hafiz and Abu Sa'id ibn Abi Amr narrated to us... from Abu Ishaq who said: Abdullah ibn Yazid al-Ansari went out to seek rain. He had seen the Prophet (peace be upon him). Among those who went out were al-Bara' ibn Azib and Zayd ibn Arqam. Abu Ishaq said: I was with him that day. He stood on his feet without a pulpit, sought rain, and asked for forgiveness. Then he prayed with us two units while we were behind him, reciting aloud in both. He did not call the adhan that day nor did he give the iqamah.
