Abu Tahir al-Faqih informed us, from Abu Bakr Muhammad ibn al-Husayn al-Qattan, from Abu al-Azhar, from Yunus ibn Muhammad, from Fulayh, from Hilal ibn Ali, from Ata' ibn Yasar or Ibn Abi Amrah, from Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: Whoever believes in Allah and His Messenger, establishes prayer, pays zakat, and fasts Ramadan, it is a right upon Allah to admit him to Paradise, whether he migrated in the cause of Allah or died in the land where he was born. They said: O Messenger of Allah, shall we not inform the people of this? He said: Indeed, in Paradise there are one hundred degrees, between each two degrees is like the distance between heaven and earth. Allah has prepared them for those who strive in His cause. So when you ask Allah, ask Him for al-Firdaws, for it is the middle of Paradise and the highest part of Paradise, and from it the rivers of Paradise flow, and above it is the Throne of the Most Merciful, blessed and exalted. Abu al-Azhar narrated that Yunus ibn Muhammad said: Fulayh narrated this hadith to us a second time, mentioning it from Hilal ibn Ali, from Ata' ibn Yasar, from Abu Hurayrah with a similar wording without any doubt.
