أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْحُسَيْنِ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ الْقَطَّانُ بِبَغْدَادَ أنبأ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ دُرُسْتَوَيْهِ ثنا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ ثنا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مُوسَى أنبأ أُسَامَةُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَزْهَرَ قَالَ رَأَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ عَامَ الْفَتْحِ وَأَنَا غُلَامٌ شَابٌّ يَسْأَلُ عَنْ مَنْزِلِ خَالِدِ بْنِ الْوَلِيدِ فَأُتِيَ بِشَارِبٍ فَأَمَرَهُمْ فَضَرَبُوهُ بِمَا فِي أَيْدِيهِمْ فَمِنْهُمْ مَنْ يَضْرِبُ بِالسَّوْطِ وَمِنْهُمْ مَنْ يَضْرِبُ بِالْعَصَا وَحَثَا عَلَيْهِ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ التُّرَابَ
انگریزی ترجمہ
Abd al-Rahman ibn Azhar said: "I saw the Prophet (peace be upon him) during the Year of the Conquest while I was a young man. He was asking about the residence of Khalid ibn al-Walid. A drinker was brought to him, and he ordered the people to beat him with whatever was in their hands. Some struck with whips, some with sticks, and the Prophet threw dust at him."
