أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ أَخْبَرَنِي عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ الْقَاضِي ثنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ ثنا آدَمُ بْنُ أَبِي إِيَاسٍ ثنا وَرْقَاءُ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي نَجِيحٍ عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ أَبِي رَبَاحٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ فِي قَوْلِهِ ﷻ {يُوصِيكُمُ اللهُ فِي أَوْلَادِكُمْ لِلذَّكَرِ مِثْلُ حَظِّ الْأُنْثَيَيْنِ} [النساء 11] قَالَ كَانَ الْمِيرَاثُ لِلْوَلَدِ وَكَانَتِ الْوَصِيَّةُ لِلْوَالِدَيْنِ وَالْأَقْرَبِينَ فَنَسَخَ اللهُ مِنْ ذَلِكَ مَا أَحَبَّ فَجَعَلَ لِلْوَلَدِ الذَّكَرِ مِثْلَ حَظِّ الْأُنْثَيَيْنِ وَجَعَلَ لِلْوَالِدَيْنِ السُّدُسَ وَجَعَلَ لِلزَّوْجِ النِّصْفَ أَوِ الرُّبُعَ وَجَعَلَ لِلْمَرْأَةِ الرُّبُعَ أَوِ الثُّمُنَ
انگریزی ترجمہ
Abu Abdullah al-Hafiz informed us with his chain from Ata ibn Abi Rabah from Ibn Abbas regarding Allah's words: 'Allah instructs you concerning your children: for the male, what is equal to the share of two females' (Quran 4:11). He said: Inheritance used to belong to the children, and bequest was for the parents and relatives. Then Allah abrogated what He wished from that: He gave the male child twice the female's share, gave each parent a sixth, gave the husband half or a quarter, and gave the wife a quarter or an eighth.
