Isma'il ibn Ibrahim told us, from Ma'mar, from al-Zuhri, from Sa'id ibn al-Musayyab, from Abu Hurayrah, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "A town-dweller must not sell on behalf of a desert-dweller; do not engage in artificial bidding to raise the price; a man must not bid over the bid of his brother, nor propose marriage over the proposal of his brother; and a woman must not ask for her sister's divorce in order to take her place, for she will only have what Allah has decreed for her."
