حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ عَنْ يُونُسَ بْنِ عُبَيْدٍ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لَا يَسُمْ الرَّجُلُ عَلَى سَوْمِ أَخِيهِ وَلَا يَخْطُبْ عَلَى خِطْبَةِ أَخِيهِ.

Isma'il narrated to us, from Yunus ibn Ubaid, from al-Hasan, from Abu Hurairah, from the Prophet (peace be upon him), who said: "A man should not outbid his brother's bargain, nor propose marriage over his brother's proposal."
