حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ زِيَادٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ يَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا الْقَاسِمِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أُتِيَ بِتَمْرٍ مِنْ تَمْرِ الصَّدَقَةِ فَأَمَرَ فِيهِ بِأَمْرِهِ فَحَمَلَ الْحَسَنَ أَوْ الْحُسَيْنَ عَلَى عَاتِقِهِ فَجَعَلَ لُعَابُهُ يَسِيلُ عَلَيْهِ فَنَظَرَ إِلَيْهِ فَإِذَا هُوَ يَلُوكُ تَمْرَةً فَحَرَّكَ خَدَّهُ وَقَالَ أَلْقِهَا يَا بُنَيَّ أَمَا شَعَرْتَ أَنَّ آلَ مُحَمَّدٍ لَا يَأْكُلُونَ الصَّدَقَةَ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
'Affan narrated to us, Hammad ibn Salamah narrated to us, he said: Muhammad ibn Ziyad informed us who said: I heard Abu Hurayrah say: I heard Abu al-Qasim (peace be upon him) - he was brought dates from the charity dates and he gave instructions regarding them. Then he carried al-Hasan or al-Husayn on his shoulder, and his saliva was dripping on him. He looked at him and found him chewing a date. He nudged his cheek and said: "Spit it out, my son! Do you not know that the family of Muhammad does not eat from charity?"
