وَبِإِسْنَادِهِ قَالَ وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَتْ بَنُو إِسْرَائِيلَ يَغْتَسِلُونَ عُرَاةً يَنْظُرُ بَعْضُهُمْ إِلَى سَوْأَةِ بَعْضٍ وَكَانَ مُوسَى عَلَيْهِ السَّلَام يَغْتَسِلُ وَحْدَهُ فَقَالُوا وَاللَّهِ مَا يَمْنَعُ مُوسَى أَنْ يَغْتَسِلَ مَعَنَا إِلَّا أَنَّهُ آدَرُ قَالَ فَذَهَبَ مَرَّةً يَغْتَسِلُ فَوَضَعَ ثَوْبَهُ عَلَى حَجَرٍ فَفَرَّ الْحَجَرُ بِثَوْبِ مُوسَى قَالَ فَجَمَحَ مُوسَى يَأْمُرُهُ يَقُولُ ثَوْبِي حَجَرُ ثَوْبِي حَجَرُ حَتَّى نَظَرَتْ بَنُو إِسْرَائِيلَ إِلَى سَوْأَةِ مُوسَى وَقَالُوا وَاللَّهِ مَا بِمُوسَى مِنْ بَأْسٍ فَقَامَ الْحَجَرُ بَعْدُ حَتَّى نَظَرَ إِلَيْهِ فَأَخَذَ ثَوْبَهُ وَطَفِقَ بِالْحَجَرِ ضَرْبًا فَقَالَ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ وَاللَّهِ إِنَّ بِالْحَجَرِ نَدْبًا سِتَّةً أَوْ سَبْعَةً ضَرْبُ مُوسَى بِالْحَجَرِ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: 'The Children of Israel used to bathe naked, looking at each other's private parts. Musa (Moses), peace be upon him, used to bathe alone. They said: By Allah, nothing prevents Musa from bathing with us except that he has a hernia. One time he went to bathe and placed his garment on a rock. The rock fled with Musa's garment, and Musa chased after it saying: My garment, O rock! My garment, O rock! — until the Children of Israel saw Musa's body and said: By Allah, there is nothing wrong with Musa. The rock then stopped, and he took his garment and began striking the rock.' Abu Hurayrah said: 'By Allah, there are six or seven marks on the rock from Musa's striking.'
