Abd al-Samad told us: Khalifa told us, from Amr ibn Shu'ayb, from his father, from his grandfather, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, addressed them while leaning his back against the Ka'ba, and said: "There is no prayer after Asr until the sun sets, and no prayer after the dawn prayer until the sun rises. The believers' bloods are equal in worth; the lowest of them may grant protection binding upon them all, and they are a single hand against whoever else. No believer is to be killed for [killing] a disbeliever, nor one bound by a covenant while his covenant is in effect."
