حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ حَدَّثَنَا خَلِيفَةُ بْنُ خَيَّاطٍ اللَّيْثِيُّ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَدِّهِ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ مَنْ حَلَفَ عَلَى يَمِينٍ فَرَأَى غَيْرَهَا خَيْرًا مِنْهَا فَهِيَ كَفَّارَتُهَا.

Abd al-Samad told us: Khalifa ibn Khayyat al-Laythi told us, from Amr ibn Shu'ayb, from his father, from his grandfather, from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, who said: "Whoever swears an oath and then sees something better than it, then that is its expiation."
