Abidah told us: Muhammad ibn Abd al-Rahman ibn Abi Layla told us, from a man called Sadu' - and in another copy, Sadaqah - from Ibn Umar, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, secluded himself (in i'tikaf) during the last ten days. He said: A hut of palm branches was built for him. He said: One night he put his head out of it and said, 'O people, when one who is praying performs the prayer, he is confiding in his Lord, blessed and exalted is He, so let him be mindful of what he confides to Him, and let none of you raise his voice over another.'
