حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ الْحَارِثِيُّ حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْبَيْلَمَانِيُّ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا لَقِيتَ الْحَاجَّ فَسَلِّمْ عَلَيْهِ وَصَافِحْهُ وَمُرْهُ أَنْ يَسْتَغْفِرَ لَكَ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَدْخُلَ بَيْتَهُ فَإِنَّهُ مَغْفُورٌ لَهُ.

Affan told us: Muhammad ibn al-Harith al-Harithi told us: Muhammad ibn Abd al-Rahman al-Baylamani told me, from his father, from Abdullah ibn Umar, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: 'When you meet the pilgrim, greet him and shake his hand, and ask him to seek forgiveness for you before he enters his house, for he has been forgiven.'
