حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِي زِيَادٍ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَى عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ كُنَّا فِي سَرِيَّةٍ فَفَرَرْنَا فَأَرَدْنَا أَنْ نَرْكَبَ الْبَحْرَ ثُمَّ أَتَيْنَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقُلْنَا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ نَحْنُ الْفَرَّارُونَ فَقَالَ لَا بَلْ أَنْتُمْ أَوْ أَنْتُمْ الْعَكَّارُونَ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Muhammad ibn Ja'far told us, Shu'bah told us, from Yazid ibn Abi Ziyad, from Ibn Abi Layla, from Ibn Umar, who said: We were on a military expedition and we fled, and we wanted to take to the sea. Then we came to the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, and said, "O Messenger of Allah, we are the ones who fled." He said, "No, rather you are - or you are - the ones who will return to fight again."
