حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ أَخْبَرَنِي نَافِعٌ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كُلُّكُمْ رَاعٍ وَكُلُّكُمْ مَسْئُولٌ عَنْ رَعِيَّتِهِ فَالْأَمِيرُ الَّذِي عَلَى النَّاسِ رَاعٍ عَلَيْهِمْ وَهُوَ مَسْئُولٌ عَنْهُمْ وَالرَّجُلُ رَاعٍ عَلَى أَهْلِ بَيْتِهِ وَهُوَ مَسْئُولٌ عَنْهُمْ وَالْمَرْأَةُ رَاعِيَةٌ عَلَى بَيْتِ بَعْلِهَا وَوَلَدِهِ وَهِيَ مَسْئُولَةٌ عَنْهُمْ وَعَبْدُ الرَّجُلِ رَاعٍ عَلَى بَيْتِ سَيِّدِهِ وَهُوَ مَسْئُولٌ عَنْهُ أَلَا فَكُلُّكُمْ رَاعٍ وَكُلُّكُمْ مَسْئُولٌ عَنْ رَعِيَّتِهِ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Yahya told us, from Ubaydullah: Nafi' informed me, from Ibn Umar, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, "Each of you is a shepherd, and each of you is responsible for his flock. The ruler who is over the people is a shepherd, and he is responsible for them. The man is a shepherd over the people of his household, and he is responsible for them. The woman is a shepherdess over the house of her husband and his children, and she is responsible for them. The slave of a man is a shepherd over the property of his master, and he is responsible for it. So each of you is a shepherd, and each of you is responsible for his flock."
