حَدَّثَنَا الْوَلِيدُ يَعْنِي ابْنَ مُسْلِمٍ حَدَّثَنَا الْأَوْزَاعِيُّ حَدَّثَنِي الْمُطَّلِبُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ حَنْطَبٍ أَنَّ ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ كَانَ يَتَوَضَّأُ مَرَّةً مَرَّةً وَيُسْنِدُ ذَلِكَ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَأَنَّ ابْنَ عُمَرَ كَانَ يَتَوَضَّأُ ثَلَاثًا ثَلَاثًا وَيُسْنِدُ ذَلِكَ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Al-Walid — meaning Ibn Muslim — told us: Al-Awza'i told us: Al-Muttalib ibn Abdullah ibn Hantab told me, that Ibn Abbas used to perform ablution once for each part, and attributed that to the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him; and that Ibn Umar used to perform ablution three times for each part, and attributed that to the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him.
