حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ يَعْنِى ابْنَ أَبِي يَزِيدَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أُمِّ أَيُّوبَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ نَزَلَ الْقُرْآنُ عَلَى سَبْعَةِ أَحْرُفٍ أَيَّهَا قَرَأْتَ أَجْزَأَكَ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Sufyan ibn Uyaynah narrated to us, from Ubaydullah, meaning Ibn Abi Yazid, from his father, from Umm Ayyub, that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "The Qur'an was revealed in seven modes (ahruf). Whichever of them you recite will suffice you."
