حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَكْرٍ وَعَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ قَالَا أَخْبَرَنَا سَعِيدٌ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ سَالِمِ بْنِ أَبِي الْجَعْدِ عَنْ مَعْدَانَ بْنِ أَبِي طَلْحَةَ الْيَعْمُرِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي الدَّرْدَاءِ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ أَمَا يَسْتَطِيعُ أَحَدُكُمْ أَنْ يَقْرَأَ ثُلُثَ الْقُرْآنِ فِي لَيْلَةٍ قَالُوا نَحْنُ أَضْعَفُ مِنْ ذَلِكَ وَأَعْجَزُ قَالَ إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ جَزَّأَ الْقُرْآنَ ثَلَاثَةَ أَجْزَاءٍ فَجَعَلَ قُلْ هُوَ اللَّهُ أَحَدٌ جُزْءًا مِنْ أَجْزَاءِ الْقُرْآنِ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Muhammad ibn Bakr and Abd al-Wahhab narrated to us. They said: Sa'id informed us, from Qatadah, from Salim ibn Abi al-Ja'd, from Ma'dan ibn Abi Talhah al-Ya'muri, from Abu al-Darda', from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), who said: "Is one of you not able to recite one-third of the Qur'an in one night?" They said: "We are too weak and incapable of that." He said: "Indeed, Allah the Almighty divided the Qur'an into three parts, and He made 'Qul Huwallahu Ahad' (Say: He is Allah, the One) one part of the parts of the Qur'an."
