حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا لَيْثٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ سَعْدٍ عَنْ يَزِيدَ يَعْنِي ابْنَ الْهَادِ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْوَهَّابِ عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ عَنْ حُمَيْدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَوْفٍ عَنْ أُمِّهِ أُمِّ كُلْثُومٍ بِنْتِ عُقْبَةَ قَالَتْ مَا سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَخَّصَ فِي شَيْءٍ مِنْ الْكَذِبِ إِلَّا فِي ثَلَاثٍ الرَّجُلِ يَقُولُ الْقَوْلَ يُرِيدُ بِهِ الْإِصْلَاحَ وَالرَّجُلِ يَقُولُ الْقَوْلَ فِي الْحَرْبِ وَالرَّجُلِ يُحَدِّثُ امْرَأَتَهُ وَالْمَرْأَةِ تُحَدِّثُ زَوْجَهَا.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Yunus ibn Muhammad told us, he said: Layth — meaning Ibn Sa'd — told us, from Yazid — meaning Ibn al-Had — from Abd al-Wahhab, from Ibn Shihab, from Humayd ibn Abd al-Rahman ibn Awf, from his mother Umm Kulthum bint Uqbah, she said: I never heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) permit any lying except in three cases: a man speaking words intending reconciliation; a man speaking words in war; and a man speaking to his wife, and a woman speaking to her husband.
