حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَامِرٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ طَحْلَاءَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الرِّجَالِ عَنْ سَالِمِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ أَبِي رَافِعٍ قَالَ أَمَرَنِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنْ أَقْتُلَ الْكِلَابَ فَخَرَجْتُ أَقْتُلُهَا لَا أَرَى كَلْبًا إِلَّا قَتَلْتُهُ فَإِذَا كَلْبٌ يَدُورُ بِبَيْتٍ فَذَهَبْتُ لِأَقْتُلَهُ فَنَادَانِي إِنْسَانٌ مِنْ جَوْفِ الْبَيْتِ يَا عَبْدَ اللَّهِ مَا تُرِيدُ أَنْ تَصْنَعَ قَالَ قُلْتُ أُرِيدُ أَنْ أَقْتُلَ هَذَا الْكَلْبَ فَقَالَتْ إِنِّي امْرَأَةٌ مُضَيَّعَةٌ وَإِنَّ هَذَا الْكَلْبَ يَطْرُدُ عَنِّي السَّبُعَ وَيُؤْذِنُنِي بِالْجَائِي فَأْتِ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَاذْكُرْ ذَلِكَ لَهُ قَالَ فَأَتَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَذَكَرْتُ ذَلِكَ لَهُ فَأَمَرَنِي بِقَتْلِهِ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Abu Amir narrated to us: Ya'qub ibn Muhammad ibn Tahla narrated to us: Abu al-Rijal narrated to us, from Salim ibn Abdullah, from Abu Rafi', who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, commanded me to kill dogs, so I went out killing them - I would not see a dog without killing it. Then there was a dog circling around a house, and I went to kill it, but a person called to me from inside the house, "O servant of Allah, what do you intend to do?" He said: I said, "I intend to kill this dog." She said, "I am a defenseless woman, and this dog drives away wild beasts from me and alerts me to anyone coming - so go to the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, and mention that to him." He said: So I went to the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, and mentioned that to him, and he instructed me to kill it [nonetheless].
