حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَوْفٌ عَنْ أَبِي الصِّدِّيقِ النَّاجِيِّ أَنَّ الْحَجَّاجَ بْنَ يُوسُفَ دَخَلَ عَلَى أَسْمَاءَ بِنْتِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ بَعْدَمَا قُتِلَ ابْنُهَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الزُّبَيْرِ فَقَالَ إِنَّ ابْنَكِ أَلْحَدَ فِي هَذَا الْبَيْتِ وَإِنَّ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ أَذَاقَهُ مِنْ عَذَابٍ أَلِيمٍ وَفَعَلَ بِهِ مَا فَعَلَ فَقَالَتْ كَذَبْتَ كَانَ بَرًّا بِالْوَالِدَيْنِ صَوَّامًا قَوَّامًا وَاللَّهِ لَقَدْ أَخْبَرَنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ سَيَخْرُجُ مِنْ ثَقِيفٍ كَذَّابَانِ الْآخِرُ مِنْهُمَا شَرٌّ مِنْ الْأَوَّلِ وَهُوَ مُبِيرٌ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Ishaq b. Yusuf told us: Awf told us, from Abu al-Siddiq al-Naji, that al-Hajjaj b. Yusuf went in to Asma' bint Abi Bakr after her son Abd Allah b. al-Zubayr had been killed, and said, 'Your son deviated from the truth in this House, and God, Mighty and Majestic, made him taste a painful punishment, and did to him what He did.' She said, 'You lie. He was dutiful to his parents, much given to fasting, much given to standing in prayer. By God, the Messenger of God (peace and blessings be upon him) told us that two liars would emerge from Thaqif, the second of them worse than the first, and he would be a destroyer.'
