حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ دَاوُدَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ الْغَسِيلِ عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ خَرَجَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مُتَقَنِّعًا بِثَوْبٍ فَقَالَ أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ إِنَّ النَّاسَ لَيَكْثُرُونَ وَإِنَّ الْأَنْصَارَ يَقِلُّونَ فَمَنْ وَلِيَ مِنْكُمْ أَمْرًا يَنْفَعُ فِيهِ أَحَدًا فَلْيَقْبَلْ مِنْ مُحْسِنِهِمْ وَيَتَجَاوَزْ عَنْ مُسِيئِهِمْ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) came out wrapped in a garment and said: 'O people, the people will increase in number and the Ansar will decrease. Whoever among you is placed in charge of a matter where he can benefit someone, let him accept the good from their good people and overlook the faults of their wrongdoers.'
