حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ قَالَ قَالَ ابْنُ الزُّبَيْرِ لِلْأَسْوَدِ حَدِّثْنِي عَنْ أُمِّ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا فَإِنَّهَا كَانَتْ تُفْضِي إِلَيْكَ قَالَ أَخْبَرَتْنِي أَنَّ نَبِيَّ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لَهَا لَوْلَا أَنَّ قَوْمَكِ حَدِيثٌ عَهْدُهُمْ بِجَاهِلِيَّةٍ لَهَدَمْتُ الْكَعْبَةَ ثُمَّ لَجَعَلْتُ لَهَا بَابَيْنِ فَلَمَّا مَلَكَ ابْنُ الزُّبَيْرِ هَدَمَهَا وَجَعَلَ لَهَا بَابَيْنِ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Muhammad ibn Ja'far told us: Shu'bah told us, from Abu Ishaq, who said: Ibn al-Zubayr said to al-Aswad, "Narrate to me from the Mother of the Believers, Aisha, may Allah be pleased with her, for she used to confide in you." He said: She informed me that the Prophet of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said to her, "Were it not that your people are recently emerged from Jahiliyyah, I would have demolished the Ka'bah and given it two doors." So when Ibn al-Zubayr came to power, he demolished it and gave it two doors.
