Zakariyya bin Adi narrated to us: Ubaydullah bin Amr narrated to us, from Abdullah bin Muhammad bin Aqil, from Hamzah bin Suhayb, from his father, who said: He said to Umar: As for your saying I have taken a kunyah while I have no son — the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, gave me the kunyah Abu Yahya. As for your saying there is extravagance in me regarding food, the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: The best of you is he who feeds others — or, those who feed others.
