Yahya ibn Sa'id narrated to us, from Shu'bah, Simak narrated to me, from Jabir ibn Samurah, from Abu Ayyub: that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, whenever he ate food, would send the remainder to Abu Ayyub. He said: One day a bowl containing garlic was brought, so he sent it away without eating. He said: O Messenger of Allah, is it forbidden? He said: No, but I dislike its smell. He said: Then I dislike what you dislike.
