حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ أَبِي الطُّفَيْلِ قَالَ انْطَلَقْتُ أَنَا وَعَمْرُو بْنُ صُلَيْعٍ حَتَّى أَتَيْنَا حُذَيْفَةَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ إِنَّ هَذَا الْحَيَّ مِنْ مُضَرَ لَا تَدَعُ لِلَّهِ فِي الْأَرْضِ عَبْدًا صَالِحًا إِلَّا فَتَنَتْهُ وَأَهْلَكَتْهُ حَتَّى يُدْرِكَهَا اللَّهُ بِجُنُودٍ مِنْ عِبَادِهِ فَيُذِلَّهَا حَتَّى لَا تَمْنَعَ ذَنَبَ تَلْعَةٍ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Abu Dawud told us, Hisham told us, from Qatadah, from Abu al-Tufayl, he said: I set out, I and 'Amr b. Sulay', until we came to Hudhayfah. He said: I heard the Messenger of God (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "This tribe of Mudar will not leave any righteous servant of God on the earth without trying and destroying him, until God brings it down with troops from among His servants, and humbles it until it does not even protect the tip of a small valley."
