حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ عَنْ أَشْعَثَ عَنْ عَمَّتِهِ عَنْ عَمِّهَا قَالَ إِنِّي لَبِسُوقِ ذِي الْمَجَازِ عَلَيَّ بُرْدَةٌ لِي مَلْحَاءُ أَسْحَبُهَا قَالَ فَطَعَنَنِي رَجُلٌ بِمِخْصَرَةٍ فَقَالَ ارْفَعْ إِزَارَكَ فَإِنَّهُ أَبْقَى وَأَنْقَى فَنَظَرْتُ فَإِذَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَنَظَرْتُ فَإِذَا إِزَارُهُ إِلَى أَنْصَافِ سَاقَيْهِ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Waki' told us, from Sufyan, from Ash'ath, from his paternal aunt, from her paternal uncle, who said: I was at the market of Dhu al-Majaz wearing a striped garment of mine, trailing it. He said: A man poked me with a stick and said, "Raise your lower garment, for it is more lasting and more pure." I looked, and it was the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him. I looked again, and his lower garment reached the middle of his shins.
