حَدَّثَنَا الْخُزَاعِيُّ وَهُوَ أَبُو سَلَمَةَ أَخْبَرَنَا شَرِيكٌ عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ أَحْمَرَ اسْمُهُ جِبْرِيلُ عَنِ ابْنِ بُرَيْدَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ تُوُفِّيَ رَجُلٌ مِنْ الْأَزْدِ فَلَمْ يَدَعْ وَارِثًا فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الْتَمِسُوا لَهُ وَارِثًا الْتَمِسُوا لَهُ ذَا رَحِمٍ قَالَ فَلَمْ يُوجَدْ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ادْفَعُوهُ إِلَى أَكْبَرِ خُزَاعَةَ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Al-Khuza'i, who is Abu Salamah, narrated to us: Sharik informed us from Abu Bakr ibn Ahmar, whose name was Jibril, from Ibn Buraydah from his father, who said: A man from the Azd died and left no heir, so the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Seek an heir for him; seek a blood relative for him." He said: None was found, so the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Give it to the eldest of Khuza'ah."
