حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو سَعِيدٍ مَوْلَى بَنِي هَاشِمٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ يَعْنِي ابْنَ أَبِي الْحُسَامِ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَقِيلٍ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ عُبَادَةَ بْنِ الصَّامِتِ أَنَّهُ سَأَلَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ لَيْلَةِ الْقَدْرِ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي رَمَضَانَ فَالْتَمِسُوهَا فِي الْعَشْرِ الْأَوَاخِرِ فَإِنَّهَا فِي وَتْرٍ فِي إِحْدَى وَعِشْرِينَ أَوْ ثَلَاثٍ وَعِشْرِينَ أَوْ خَمْسٍ وَعِشْرِينَ أَوْ سَبْعٍ وَعِشْرِينَ أَوْ تِسْعٍ وَعِشْرِينَ أَوْ فِي آخِرِ لَيْلَةٍ فَمَنْ قَامَهَا ابْتِغَاءَهَا إِيمَانًا وَاحْتِسَابًا ثُمَّ وُفِّقَتْ لَهُ غُفِرَ لَهُ مَا تَقَدَّمَ مِنْ ذَنْبِهِ وَمَا تَأَخَّرَ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Abu Sa'id, the freed slave of Banu Hashim, told us, he said: Sa'id ibn Salamah, that is Ibn Abi al-Husam, told us, Abdullah ibn Muhammad ibn Aqil told us, from Amr ibn Abd al-Rahman, from Ubadah ibn al-Samit, that he asked the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, about the Night of Decree. The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "In Ramadan, seek it in the last ten nights, for it is on an odd night: the twenty-first, or the twenty-third, or the twenty-fifth, or the twenty-seventh, or the twenty-ninth, or the last night. Whoever stands in prayer on it seeking it out of faith and in hope of reward, and it is then made known to him, his past and future sins will be forgiven."
