حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ يَعْنِي ابْنَ الْمُبَارَكِ أَخْبَرَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَيُّوبَ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ زَحْرٍ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ يَزِيدَ عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ عَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ قَالَ لَمَّا وُضِعَتْ أُمُّ كُلْثُومٍ ابْنَةُ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي الْقَبْرِ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ { مِنْهَا خَلَقْنَاكُمْ وَفِيهَا نُعِيدُكُمْ وَمِنْهَا نُخْرِجُكُمْ تَارَةً أُخْرَى } قَالَ ثُمَّ لَا أَدْرِي أَقَالَ بِسْمِ اللَّهِ وَفِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ وَعَلَى مِلَّةِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ أَمْ لَا فَلَمَّا بَنَى عَلَيْهَا لَحْدَهَا طَفِقَ يَطْرَحُ لَهُمْ الْجَبُوبَ وَيَقُولُ سُدُّوا خِلَالَ اللَّبِنِ ثُمَّ قَالَ أَمَا إِنَّ هَذَا لَيْسَ بِشَيْءٍ وَلَكِنَّهُ يَطِيبُ بِنَفْسِ الْحَيِّ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Ali ibn Ishaq told us, Abdullah -- meaning Ibn al-Mubarak -- informed us, Yahya ibn Ayyub informed us, from Ubaydullah ibn Zahr, from Ali ibn Yazid, from al-Qasim, from Abu Umamah, who said: When Umm Kulthum, daughter of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, was placed in the grave, the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "From it We created you, into it We shall return you, and from it We shall bring you out another time." He said: Then I do not know whether he said "In the name of Allah, and in the path of Allah, and upon the religion of the Messenger of Allah" or not. Then when he built her grave-niche, he began to throw clods of earth to them, saying: "Fill the gaps between the bricks," then he said: "This indeed is nothing [of benefit to her], but it comforts the soul of the living."
