حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ قَالَ سَمِعْنَاهُ مِنْ اثْنَيْنِ وَثَلَاثَةٍ حَدَّثَنَا حَكِيمُ بْنُ جُبَيْرٍ عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ طَلْحَةَ عَنْ ابْنِ الْحَوْتَكِيَّةِ قَالَ عُمَرُ مَنْ حَاضِرُنَا يَوْمَ الْقَاحَةِ فَقَالَ أَبُو ذَرٍّ أَنَا أَمَرَهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِصِيَامِ الْبِيضِ الْغُرِّ ثَلَاثَ عَشْرَةَ وَأَرْبَعَ عَشْرَةَ وَخَمْسَ عَشْرَةَ.

Sufyan narrated to us, who said: We heard it from two and from three [narrators]: Hakim ibn Jubayr narrated to us, from Musa ibn Talhah, from Ibn al-Hawtakiyyah, who said: Umar asked: "Who among us was present on the day of al-Qahah?" Abu Dharr said: "I was. The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, commanded him to fast the bright [moonlit] white days: the thirteenth, fourteenth, and fifteenth [of the lunar month]."
