حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ أَبِي شِمْرٍ الضُّبَعِيِّ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ عَائِذَ بْنَ عَمْرٍو يَنْهَى عَنْ الدُّبَّاءِ وَالْحَنْتَمِ وَالْمُزَفَّتِ وَالنَّقِيرِ فَقُلْتُ لَهُ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ نَعَمْ.

Muhammad ibn Ja'far told us, Shu'ba told us, from Abu Shimr al-Duba'i, who said: I heard 'A'idh ibn 'Amr forbidding the hantam, the dubba', the muzaffat, and the naqir. I said to him, "From the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him?" He said, "Yes."
