Bahz told us: Hammam told us, from Qatadah, from al-Hasan, from Abdullah ibn Uthman al-Thaqafi, that a one-eyed man from Thaqif - Qatadah said: he was called Ma'ruf, meaning he was spoken of well - called Zuhayr ibn Uthman, [narrated] that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The wedding feast is a due right; the second day is a kindness; and the third day is for show and hypocrisy."
