حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ أَخْبَرَنَا يُونُسُ عَن الْحَسَنِ عَن سَمُرَةَ بْنِ جُنْدُبٍ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ تُوشِكُونَ أَنْ يَمْلَأَ اللَّهُ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى أَيْدِيَكُمْ مِنْ الْعَجَمِ ثُمَّ يَكُونُوا أُسْدًا لَا يَفِرُّونَ فَيَقْتُلُونَ مُقَاتِلَتَكُمْ وَيَأْكُلُونَ فَيْئَكُمْ حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ أَخْبَرَنَا يُونُسُ عَن الْحَسَنِ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَذَكَرَ مِثْلَهُ قَالَ أَبِي و حَدَّثَنَاه سُرَيْجُ بْنُ النُّعْمَانِ حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ عَن يُونُسَ عَن الْحَسَنِ عَن سَمُرَةَ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِثْلَهُ.

Affan told us: Hammad ibn Salamah told us: Yunus informed us, from al-Hasan, from Samurah ibn Jundub, from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), who said: "You are about to have Allah, Blessed and Exalted, fill your hands with non-Arabs; then they will become like lions who do not flee, so they will kill your fighting men and eat your spoils." Hushaym told us: Yunus informed us, from al-Hasan, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said [this], and he mentioned something similar. My father [Ahmad] said: Surayj ibn al-Nu'man also related this to us: Hushaym told us, from Yunus, from al-Hasan, from Samurah, from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), similarly.
