Yazid ibn Harun told us, al-Mas'udi informed us — and Abu Nu'aym told us, al-Mas'udi told us — from Ma'bad ibn Khalid, from Zayd ibn Uqbah, from Samurah ibn Jundub, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, used to recite in the two Eid prayers 'Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High' and 'Has there come to you the account of the overwhelming event.'
