حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ وَرَوْحٌ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ شَيْخٍ مِنْ بَنِيٍ قُشَيْرٍ قَالَ رَوْحٌ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ سَوَادَةَ الْقُشَيْرِيَّ وَكَانَ إِمَامَهُمْ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ سَمُرَةَ بْنَ جُنْدُبٍ يَخْطُبُ يَقُولُ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَا يَغُرَّنَّكُمْ نِدَاءُ بِلَالٍ وَهَذَا الْبَيَاضُ حَتَّى يَنْفَجِرَ الْفَجْرُ أَوْ يَطْلُعَ الْفَجْرُ.

Muhammad ibn Ja'far and Rawh narrated to us, they said: Shu'ba narrated to us, from a shaykh of Banu Qushayr - Rawh said: I heard Sawada al-Qushayri, who was their prayer leader, say: I heard Samura ibn Jundab delivering a sermon, saying: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "Do not let Bilal's call to prayer, nor this whiteness, deceive you until the dawn breaks," or "until the dawn rises."
